One Month Left of 1st Quarter 2010

As the title suggests, there is only one month remaining in the 1st Quarter of 2010. This has a bearing on a few thing, more specifically the Quarterly Awards and the Zeta Council.

Starting on March 15th, 2010 members of the fleet will be able to submit to me their nominations for the eight quarterly awards for the fleet. You can see the awards at the link below.

Every member of the fleet is responsible for submitting to me ONE nomination for each award. You can't nominate yourself. On March 22nd I will close nominations and the top two nominees will square off in a private vote to determine the winner of the award.

Only submit your nominations come March 15th. Please send me a PM at that time with your nominations.

Also, as our Zeta Council rotates its individuals quarterly, members from the fleet will be able to submit their candidacy for each of the four council positions between now and March 15th. On March 15th the candidates will be put in a vote and it is you guys who will decide who will serve on the Zeta Council.

Purge Complete - Applications Open

I have completed the Trial Purge for the fleet. A total of 35 people were removed from the fleet due to inactivity.

We will have another purge on April 1st, 2010.

I am therefore re-opening the applications to join Zeta Fleet.

We are always looking for Role-Players to join us in the final frontier and would welcome anyone who appreciates and loves Star Trek as much as we do.

First Round of the 30 Day Trial Coming

The Zeta Council is starting to look at who is staying and who will be getting removed from the fleet. As February is a 28 day month, we will be removing players on March 2nd.

Here's a review of qualities we are looking for in members of the fleet.
1. Takes part in our RP Events
2. Takes part / keeps up to date with the information that is posted on this site.
3. Helpful and friendly to other members of the fleet.

I think those are the big three things that we are looking for here moving forward.

Those who we deem not able to continue with Zeta Fleet will not get any warning. They will simply be removed (I've received nasty messages before when advising people they were being removed). Consider this the warning for anyone who will be removed come March 2nd.

New Division Head of Research and Development

I would like to thank everyone who volunteered for the position of Division Head of Research and Development. It wasn't an easy decision by any means. With that being said I have made a decision and would like to congratulate Kela in becoming the new head of that division.

I know there are tons of talented people still out there in the fleet but even if you're not a division head you can still contribute to the growth of Zeta Fleet. Every person here has its place amongst us and I'm almost certain that Kela will use anyone to help make her division awesome. She is scheduled to serve in this position until the end of March when our new quarter starts.

Volunteer Needed - Head of Research and Development

Due to real life commitments, Mr. Cedavi has requested to be removed as the current head of the Research and Development Division.

I am therefore asking for someone to volunteer for this position and to be a part of the preliminary council.

Please make your request on this thread. I will give you all until the end of the week to volunteer and then will pick someone from the list.
